Looking for a way to create rubrics for your students that align with your school’s curriculum? Look no further than our upcoming software ESBPlanners! With the software, you will easily be able to design custom rubrics, print them out and choose whether you would like to evaluate your students using hard or online copies! How so, you may be wondering? Read on to find out!
Typically, when creating rubrics, the first roadblock one runs into is having to copy and paste outcomes from the curriculum and from there begin rewording it to suit your needs. Our software allows you to create a copy (or copies) of already uploaded curriculums, reword chosen outcomes as needed and then select them from a drop-down menu when creating your template. If you can’t find the curriculum you are looking for, the software will allow you to easily enter your own curriculum outcomes and do the same.
The second roadblock one usually runs into is with formatting. Our software is designed to eliminate typical issues encountered by allowing you to copy cell sizes without having to adjust each one individually – simply set one size and highlight all the cells you wish to have the same width and height, and done! You also have the option to format a single cell the way you see fit, right click on it and choose our “Repeat Cell” feature which will copy your layout for as many cells as you like in any given column or row.
Lastly, there’s the issue of how to keep track of student progress. While you are able to print PDF copies of your rubric and use them the traditional way by circling or highlighting how students did on physical paper, you are also able to create online copies of your rubric for each student and indicate how they scored using our objective tracker feature. From there you can print out marked copies and/or choose to archive and store them on the software for future reference! And what of the following year when you want to use your rubric again? Simply search it up and use as is or create a copy and modify as needed.
