Are you a parent looking for some free resources to help your child learn French at home? We’ve got you covered with our selection of leveled online French audio eBooks! Each eBook allows you to help your child in upper primary or middle school read in French and review vocabulary and grammar concepts taught in the classroom.
Our engaging storylines are presented in such a way that your child can follow the stories with ease! Below is an overview of some of the themes covered in each of our levels:
Beginner FSL eBooks
The beginner series of thematic eBooks focuses on a 16-year-old boy named Marc Gagnon. Your child will be introduced to Marc’s family, friends, and school life. Your child will also learn about what to see and do in the city of Montreal and the province of Quebec, Canada.
Intermediate FSL eBooks
In the beginner series, Marc introduced his cousin Julie who lives in Paris, France. The intermediate thematic eBooks explore Julie's life and interests as she shops, runs errands, and dines in Paris.
Advanced FSL eBooks
In the advanced level series, both Julie and Marc embark on separate adventures. Julie and her two best friends, Alexandre and Pauline, travel to Martinique during the Christmas break. Julie returns from her trip in time to celebrate the New Year with her family in Paris. Marc has enrolled in an exchange program and spends a semester in Dakar, Senegal. During this time, he makes new friends, travels, and learns about the Senegalese people.
