OUR ESL EBOOKS & ACCOMPANYING TEACHING RESOURCES

12/7/2018

Our ESL collection of eBooks is designed to help your children consolidate classroom learning at home or at school, and links to common themes being covered in the classroom, as well as covering cultural aspects of life in the United States, Canada, Great Britain and Australia. Often school textbooks offer an assortment of vocabulary and grammar activities, but lack reading materials at a level appropriate for students who are beginning to learn English. Our series aims to provide this reading material so that students can practice the conversational vocabulary being taught in the classroom in a short book format, consolidating classroom learning. Each eBook also comes with audio buttons so that students can listen to the stories independently and in group settings. Our free online eBooks can be viewed on any device with Internet, and can also be displayed on SMART Boards for group lessons. The eBooks are also available in a printable PDF format.
A. Reading Comprehension:

The reading comprehension books are written from the point of view of either Jason Miller or Janet Wilson.  They are meant for students to learn how to describe themselves, their interests, their family lives and where they come from. Some are also written in email or letter writing format. Each level also includes reading comprehension books that address different aspects – climate, geography, food, activities, cultural celebrations, etc., of the following areas: the United States, Canada, Great Britain & Australia.

B. Conversational:

The conversational books are written in dialogue format so that students can practice reading conversations, and see how the vocabulary being taught fits into real life context.

The eBooks are divided into 3 different levels, and follow the lives of Jason Miller and his cousin Janet Wilson. Each level introduces new vocabulary and additional grammar. Additionally, within each level, two types of books are provided:
